The Cyber Bytes Academy’s (CBA) mission is to educate students from all over the world through a highly qualified faculty body while offering programs that stimulate the intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity needed in the international community. Our goal is to motivate our graduates to learn beyond the limits of the classroom, and to benefit from what the cyber security industry has to offer. We encourage students to take advantage of the academy’s location and explore the historical, professional, and cultural aspects of this region. CBA serves as a hub for cybersecurity skills development through its various offerings that are informed by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework. The core mission of the CBA is to assist in reducing the growing cybersecurity workforce gap. CBA, in executing its mission, works in sync with the Quantico Cyber Hub (QCH) to provide career pathways for students through a combination of theory and experiential learning opportunities. In its physical presence at the QCH, students are exposed to employers who are associated with QCH along with other direct benefits such as an onsite national testing in their discipline. CBA seeks certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia due to our physical presence in Stafford County along with our status as a legal entity in the State of Virginia and to be able to offer these education opportunities to Stafford, the surrounding areas, and the Commonwealth in general. Cyber Bytes Academy is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
