Cyber Bytes Academy (CBA)
MISSION:
The Cyber Bytes Foundation 501(c)(3) mission is to establish and sustain a unique cyber ecosystem to produce the education, innovation, and outreach programs to enhance developers and the cyber workforce.
We aim to educate students worldwide through a highly qualified faculty body while offering programs that stimulate the intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity needed in the international community. Our goal is to motivate our graduates to learn beyond the classroom limits and benefit from what the cybersecurity industry has to offer. We encourage students to take advantage of the academy’s location and explore the historical, professional, and cultural aspects of this region.
CBA serves as a hub for cybersecurity skills development through its various offerings informed by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.
The core mission of the CBA is to assist in reducing the growing cybersecurity workforce gap. In executing its mission, CBA works in sync with the Quantico Cyber Hub (QCH) to provide career pathways for students through a combination of theory and experiential learning opportunities.
In its physical presence at the QCH, students are exposed to employers associated with QCH and other direct benefits such as onsite national testing in their discipline. CBA seeks certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia due to our physical presence in Stafford County and our status as a legal entity in the State of Virginia and to offer these educational opportunities to Stafford, the surrounding areas, and the Commonwealth in general.
Cyber Bytes Academy is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
