CBA105 – Advanced Cyber Professional (ACP) (ISC2 CISSP Competency) – VIRTUAL
Aug 9 @ 5:00 pm - Aug 20 @ 9:00 pm
CBA105 is designed to develop a broad range of skills across security policy development and management and a technical understanding of a wide range of security controls. Learners will develop skills in using data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools (e.g., IDS alerts, firewalls, network traffic logs) to analyze events that occur within their environments to mitigate threats. Learners will also develop skills that will allow them to lead, coordinate, communicate, integrate, and account for the cybersecurity program’s overall success, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities. Learners will understand how to develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, strategies, and policies to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance. They will develop an appreciation for the responsibility for the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, or enclave. They will leave with the necessary skills and best practices to effectively create and execute enterprise-wide information security strategies.
CBA105 – Advanced Cyber Professional will help students prepare for the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) exam. Students taking this course will be offered the option to continue to certification upon program completion. Program completion is not an eligibility requirement to sit for the certification exam. If a student exercises the option to take the certification exam, they may choose to use the resources provided within the course to prepare. This course does not provide a voucher or guarantee of eligibility for the certification exam.
