Cyber Bytes Networking Event AI in Space

Apr 29 @ 3:00 pm - Apr 29 @ 4:00 pm

Can artificial intelligence help the search for life elsewhere in the solar system? NASA thinks the answer may be “yes” and not just on Mars either.

A pilot AI system is now being tested for use on the ExoMars mission, which is currently slated to launch in the summer or fall of 2022. The machine-learning algorithms being developed will help science teams decide how to test Martian soil samples to return only the most meaningful data.

Join us for this month’s Cyber Networking Event (CBNE) “AI in Space” as Eric Lyness, Software Lead on the Mars Organic Molecule Analyzer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, details the science, research, data, and opportunities for industry data solutions in the field of AI and Space.
