CBA102 – IT Networking Fundamentals is a comprehensive training course that develops networking administration and support skills as follows: Installs, configures, tests, operates, maintains, and manages networks and their firewalls, including hardware (e.g., hubs, bridges, switches, multiplexers, routers, cables, proxy servers, and protective distributor systems) and software that permit the sharing and transmission of all spectrum transmissions of information to support the security of information and information systems. Plans, implements, and operates network services/systems, to include hardware and virtual environments.
CBA102 – IT Networking Fundamentals will help students prepare for the CompTIA Network+ N10-007 exam. Students taking this course will be offered the option to continue to certification upon program completion. Program completion is not an eligibility requirement to sit for the certification exam. If a student exercises the option to take the certification exam, they may choose to use the resources provided within the course to prepare. This course does not provide a voucher or guarantee of eligibility for the certification exam.
